The recording takes place in the village of Black Squirrel, at an altitude of 2100 meters

The villagers grow a mixture of corn, potatoes, pumpkins, vegetables and peanuts on the same farmland, making full and diverse use of the land.

In the past, from September to October, villagers would gather to catch locusts in the fields at midnight, fry them in oil, or sell them at market. In recent years, villagers have begun to use pesticides and the locusts have declined.
