In this video is an excerpt of the prayer song

Mm Dakhet Rouhou, Oh Whose Soul is Narrowed.
Nagi Alamrani sings and performs with Joudour Sahara Ensemble this prayer.
Khadija, Ibtissim, Arwah, Fatima dance among the ensemble with a traditional Hassani dance and costume to accompany the prayer song. Joudour Sahara team film the song in the South Sahara Desert outside of M’Hamid El Ghizlane. Music and dance are practiced regularly in daily life to accompany and acknowledge the acts of daily living through prayer and community gathering and or celebration. The young girls involved in listening to water in the desert and listening to the climate crisis through listening and recording the environment come from traditional Amazigh and Arabic nomad families of the Sahara in which they also sing, play and dance in traditional songs daily.

Prayer Sung:

The Shepherd visited,
That particular one.

The Shepherd visited,
The servant of the one Lord.

The Shepherd visited,
That particular one.

The Shepherd visited,
The servant of the one Lord.

The Shepherd visited,
That particular one.

The Shepherd visited,
The servant of the one Lord.
