Sara Natalia García Moreno is a distinguished flutist and music educator with a profound focus on the intersection of arts and social peace processes.
A graduate of the National University of Colombia (2013), she was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2015 to pursue advanced artistic training abroad.
As a performer, she has served as a flutist for various ensembles, including the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz in Germany and the Nueva Filarmonía in Bogotá.
Her teaching career spans over a decade, with experience ranging from directing youth bands in Liechtenstein to serving as a professor at the Universidad Tecnológica y Pedagógica de Colombia.
Currently, she serves as the manager and legal representative of the Fundación Pastoral Social Manos Unidas, where she coordinates education for peace initiatives. Her research work deeply explores this field, notably through her Master’s thesis, "One Hundred Years of Exercises for Peace," which reflects on language and musical perspectives within national peace frameworks.
