Introduction by Manari Ushigua: In the first part of “The Witness” we opened with a song by my aunt, after this we tried to imitate the sounds of the each animal species from Sapara territory,

It was interesting to treat this as part of our connection with the animals, because they answered the sounds we made with new messages. Sometimes we called them, sometimes we said: “we are here to dialogue with you.” So this became a ceremony. A conversation with animal species, seeking understanding, opening our hearts and emotions. This was the central part. We ended by saying thanks to the animal species with deep laughter.
