Lakoélé

Singer from Lomé, Lakoélé became in 2008 a chorister with the Toofan. She has worked with great guitarists like David Agbolo, Edu Boucanté Arien Scheney and many others in the cabaret.
In 2019 she joined the Urban Lutherie alongside Dodji Efoui and performed in the Afrotitude festival in Aneho, at the Night of Ideas organized by the French Institute of Lomé, then in Benin. She also collaborated with Elom on his new album. With her participation in the Togoville Jazz 2022 festival, Lakoélé defines herself today as a showcase of afro fusion music which stems from all the traditional music she is influenced by.
