One of the Kakuma project’s main interests is not only to focus on traditional sound and traditionalists but also to collaborate with young artists, making music through odds in the camp

Seeing young African musicians taking steps on the journey to chasing their dreams is so inspiring. Kevo is a young South Sudanese rapper living in Kakuma Camp. He and his bandmates started making music in 2018 influenced by the Kenyan gengetone and drill.
