Happy to resume SIYOM WALKABOUT after a brief pause

Over the past few years, this journey has grown into a meaningful exploration of music, connection, and shared stories. Returning to it now feels like reconnecting with a living thread that has quietly continued to weave itself through people, places, and moments of transformation.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone at the centre for welcoming me back and for keeping the spirit of our collaboration alive. Their warmth and openness make this work not just possible but deeply fulfilling.

SIYOM WALKABOUT remains a commitment to the humble exchange of experiential knowledge — an expression of hope amid the challenges of the human condition. It seeks to create spaces where storytelling, music, and human interaction support the wellness of the mind, spirit, and the community as a whole.

We spent a quiet night talking, listening, and singing around the cozy bonfire at the Bedrock of Recovery TRUST (Treatment and Rehabilitation of Users for Social Transformation), Langol Punsi Leikai. In that warm circle, surrounded by people on their courageous journey toward healing, I felt once again the simple power of music and presence.

There is a profound joy in singing for and with people who are bravely striving to come out of addiction and rebuild their lives.
