A student questions her father about how the village and the times have changed with the climate

The community struggles to solve a difficult equation and a task of sustainable development as the water source dwindles.

Student:

Hello! I'd like to ask you a question. Can you tell me what the village was like in the past and what it's like today?

Father:

In the past, things were very good. We had plenty of food for the animals. We had camels. We had activities and there were no tourists. Everyone lived and worked in agriculture with sheep and animals in the desert.
Today, everything has changed. There's less water, less food for the animals, but at the same time, we have a lot of tourists. We work more with tourists than with agriculture and animals. That's what's happened. Today, there's a lot more disease because there's no more activity in nature. There's also a lot more wind and dry weather.
